No Energy

I have no energy to do a post tonight.  It’s only Wednesday.  I had energy when I got home.  Got out in the heat and ran.  And then a 2 year old sapped it all away.  🙂 All is good.  She is asleep and soon we will be too. God Bless!

Mayday 5: Siesta

“Rejoice always! Pray constantly. Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Don’t stifle the Spirit. Don’t despise prophecies, but test all things. Hold on to what is good.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-21 Paul concludes his letter to Thessalonians including the scripture above.  This is his parting shot of instruction. […]

Forced Reset

I was sick yesterday.  Well, sick isn’t the right word.  I was under the weather.  But was far enough under the weather to come home from work.  I don’t know if it was a bug or something I ate.  I got home had a light lunch and then went back to bed. And slept…and slept…and […]

This week I am going to post a couple of screen shots each day that are tracking my spiritual, mental, and physical health.  At the end of the week I hope to lock down a more definitive goal for at least my physical health.  But for now here we go.  I’d like to thank the […]

Protect your Creativity

“More than anything you guard, protect your mind, for life flows from it.” Proverbs 4:23 (CEB) I have a hypothesis about my creativity.  I noticed that I only have a certain amount of it each day.  If I use it all up at work I don’t have any left over at night (like for writing […]

Time for Sleepys

“I lie down and sleep; I wake again because the Lord sustains me.” – Psalm 3:5 HCSB We are supposed to sleep.  That is the way God made us.  For six to eight hours we are supposed to lie down and lose consciousness, transition through light and deep sleep and dream. As with everything there is […]
