It’s Too Hot to Move

fullsizeoutput_13bdSince the weather changed officially over to summer I have ceased to run anymore.  It is just too oppressively hot to do so.  Or at least that is my excuse.  I wish we had a pool to do laps in, but alas we do not.  And so I am feeling the urge to do something.  I am getting a lot of steps in by taking some occasional walking breaks at work, but I need to do more.

It has been approximately three years since I started this blog as an accountability partner for getting in shape.  So…as I was feeling this urge to do something I figured I would go back three years and see what kind of exercises I was doing then and do them now.  So starting tomorrow I am going to do just that.

Step one, going back.   These were my weekly goals.

  • 400 pushups
  • 400 air squats
  • 400 military presses

So since tomorrow is Wednesday and half the week is over I will cut the goal in half for the rest of the week.  I will check in tomorrow with more of the particulars.
