I have seen my clients achieve some pretty cool and outstanding things. A lot of times it was something they didn’t think they had in them to do. For many just getting over the hurdle of self-doubt and asking ‘what if’ or ‘why not’ had a huge impact on their view on what they are capable of achieving. Of course that is just the first step. There is a lot of hard work and elbow grease needed too. The really cool thing for me is seeing the light come on and the realization that they are getting better and achieving their goals. I am very fortunate and blessed to be a part of that process and help it along.
So I’ve decided to do a little virtual consulting. I am a certified mental performance coach. Helping people push their capabilities beyond and shine. You can check it out here. My philosophy is simple. I’ll bring my ‘A’ game if you bring yours.
This will be the first and last time I talk about this on functionaldad. While both aspects are part of me, I will keep them separate.
Success comes from knowing yourself and then having the desire and willingness to change. Motivation to practice and then let yourself be present when performing. Not much different from living a balanced life. Recognizing our own shortcomings and then doing something about it. Work and strive to be a better husband and father. The journey for me will never end.
