A Good Start: Day 5

A FIVE DAY DEVOTIONAL TO GET YOU MOVING TOWARD SPIRITUAL, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH

“The Lord will make you go through hard times, but he himself will be there to teach you, and you will not have to search for him any more.Isaiah 30:20

Today is the last day of this devotional.  It could be easy to not do today or easy to get it done.  Hopefully, starting out small and finding a little time to yourself to accomplish something beneficial gets you thinking.  Is this easily sustainable? Can you do more?  If your ready to do more I’m going to foreshadow something big (at least for me) next year.  I am inviting you on a journey with me.  A journey toward better spiritual, mental and physical health.  More on that later.  First, let’s finish out the week…

Physical/Mental:

Today it’s up to you.  What do you want to do? The same as yesterday or maybe more? A couple of walks spread throughout the day? One long one?  Remember to be mindful while on your walk.  Take some deep breaths and try to stay in the moment.  Sometimes I use my walks as a time to ask God some pretty big and small questions. Sometimes I just count my blessings.  Sometimes I pray.  It’s up to you.

Write:

Okay you’re almost done.  Now some questions.

What did you think?

How have you changed?

What’s possible moving on?

Congratulations! It might not seem like much but every great journey begins with one step.  Most of the time it’s a normal step like you take every day. Remember that God is there to help guide those steps.  I hope you found this beneficial and I wish you well.

See you soon.  God Bless!
