Whole30 Round 2: Days 16-27


Days 16-27: Tiger Blood!

No not even kitten blood.  In fact its more like Groundhog blood.  The last week of our #SeptemberWhole30 has been like the movie Groundhog day.  Same thing each day.

Now I’m not saying the way my wife and I feel can be attributed to the Whole30 regimen.  There are other contributing factors to this general feeling of malaise:

  1. Chasing after an 11th month around is tiring.
  2. Sleep has not been great.  Averaging 6.5 hours a night during the week is just not enough for me. I need to go to bed sooner.
  3. Training for a 5K while doing the program.  Don’t have the energy to run and then when I do it taps me out.

Now if all those things weren’t going on maybe I would be feeling the proverbial Tiger Blood.  Maybe things will change after this weekend and we’ll cruise into the final 5 days.

All that being said we are proud that we have stuck with it and that is what it is all about, the journey.   At least today we have College Football to divert our attention.  God Bless!
