Whole30 Round 2: Days 2-3

Days 2-3 The Hangover

Days 2 and 3 of the Whole30 can be somewhat of a painful experience due to your body starting to adjust to not having some of those unhealthy food choices.  My wife and I both had a headache on day 3 but it wasn’t too bad a couple of days.  She is writing about her experiences on her blog DailyBeautyWisdom.com. I was craving something sweet all day 3 which I satisfied with a couple of coconut dates (only 2) my wife had made ahead of time.  While we were out shopping she was wanting a diet soda something fierce to help with her headache but I wouldn’t let her get one.  We raced home and she got some coffee instead.  We found it essential to go through this process together.  Frankly I would be eating eggs for three meals a day if it weren’t for her.  She is an amazing cook and last nights dinner was excellent as usual.  She made stir fry with no rice or soy sauce (both no-nos whilst doing the Whole30 ).

I’m gonna be honest.  Getting through day 3 was made a lot easier by the start of College Football season.  We had a bunch of games we watched yesterday and that always takes our minds off whatever else is going on (except of course meeting the needs of our daughter).  Thankfully she goes to bed at a reasonable time and before the big games.

All in all things going well so far and I don’t have quite the hangover that I did the first time around.  Hope you are having a good day.  God Bless!

Breakfast, mmmm!

Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28
