Well it’s a start
Just wanted to briefly check in and report that last week I did in fact run on three separate occasions. Once on the treadmill at work and twice on the road. I can tell you it felt good to get the blood flowing again albeit at a slow pace.
This week I will be upping the distance to a mile and a half at a clip. I feel its important to be realistic and not compare myself to my 18-year-old or even 30-year-old self. Were I to try to do too much or go too fast I could either hurt something or sabotage my progress because it would take longer than usual to recover.
I’m not gonna lie I am pretty pleased with myself. As I type this I am rehydrating after a 1.5 mile jog through my neighborhood. Maybe its just the endorphins. Have a good night and God Bless!
