This one goes to 11

11 days and counting.  That means 19 days left.  They keep promising energy in the Whole30 program and I keep going back to the timeline to see when that most likely is going to come.  Go ahead and read days 10-11, I’ll wait.  Are you back?  A lot of that is exactly how I have been feeling the past 4 days or so.  At least back at work I can be distracted.  But another curious set of thoughts have crossed my mind the past couple of days as well.  ‘When we are done what am I going to reintroduce and what am I going to let go of forever (or at least not eat on any kind of a regular basis)?‘   And I don’t have an answer and that is a bit startling.  Will I come home from work and tear into a bag of kettle cooked potato chips or just have an apple?  I don’t know, but I hope that I figure it out over the next 19 days.  I don’t really want to return to bad habits and bad nutrition.  Can it be done in moderation?

Some HR Data

If you hearken back to my post about my experience with no sugar and it’s effect on my resting heart rate. You might recall that I saw a significant drop sans sugar.  IMG_2406.jpg

After I had reintroduced sugar for about 5 days before starting the Whole30 I saw my resting heart rate rise from around 48 back up to 51.  And on the graph above you’ll see what it has done since I have started the program.  I have a hypothesis that I am not ready to share yet, but stay tuned.

BTW

I have indeed had eggs prepared around 17 different ways and still like them.  Go figure. God Bless!

For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.
