Second Weekend: Days 9 and 10

Sleep, glorious sleep

Well we caught up on our sleep this past weekend (as best as you can with a six-month old) and had some good meals.  My wife is a talented cook and she is always tinkering in the kitchen and thinking outside the box when it comes to cuisine.  She offered a suggestion to make my coffee more palatable; plain cocoa.  So I stated adding a tea spoon of pure cocoa powder to my coffee, which makes it almost like a milkshake when you add almond milk.

My wife and I have been supporting one another through the Whole30 program and we have discovered a few other places you can go for that moral support as well as Whole30 approved recipes.  We joined a private Facebook group and have visited the Whole30 Forums.  Accountability is key.  One of the reasons I started this blog was to hold myself accountable to get in shape for the arrival of our daughter.  Don’t we always do better if we think someone is watching us?  My wife is also writing about things from her perspective.  Thanks for reading and God Bless!

Therefore, no condemnation now exists for those in Christ Jesus, because the Spirit’s law of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
