The last week of the first month of the new year was a good one. I was able to get into a flow with incorporating yoga into my Functional Dad workouts. At my wife’s suggestion I added in sun salutations to my Wednesday and Friday routine. Holding each position for 3 breaths while difficult at first (especially in upward facing dog) by the end of the week I was ready to move to 4 breaths. Evidence I have possible improved in strength and endurance. So I will set a goal of 4 breaths for next week.
Let me explain. No there is too much. Let me sum up. 😉 I hit over 10,000 steps three out of five days and came pretty close on two days. I did core and flexibility work all five work days and had more fruits and veggies each day. I didn’t get to run this week but maybe will do that this weekend. Overall I am pleased that I was able to sustain the activity. I wasn’t perfect but nobody is. God Bless!
