So I finally got back into somewhat of a routine this week at work. Granted it was a short work week but was able to get some workouts done. The issue, as with most parents in the first few months, is sleep or lack thereof. Little energy to even do a limited workout. Now to be fair to myself I haven’t been deficient in any of my dad duties. I have changed at least a couple hundred of diapers, been up anywhere from 2 am to 5 am for a feeding, and happily, if groggily, headed off to work.
This week I structured my workouts with a 10, 20, 30 perspective. Whether that be number of reps or length of time (e.g. a 20 second plank). It makes the numbers easier and I had to be creative to find an exercise that I could do 30 reps in. Going a little easier as I get back into the flow. Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless!
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name.”
