We had a good night for the home team. The little girl went a little longer between meals and we only had one instead of two early morning feedings. That means longer time asleep for mom and dad. Yay! But we still aren’t getting near the amount we need to keep our immune systems up and functioning at there best. So as a result I am really going to concentrate on invoking the Relaxation Response which helps strengthen the immune system. By practicing Balanced Breathing, as I have mentioned in an earlier post, I can bolster my immune system functioning. Its not a replacement for sleep but can help keep me healthy.
I use Heartmath biofeedback products to help hone my ability to control my autonomic nervous system. I try to get at least three 5 minute sessions in a day. Four would be better but i’m keeping my goals realistic.
