Week 9 Day 3: Still easing

Still easing on in but that’s not a bad thing.  Have to tell you I may be easing but its not easy.  My motivation has waned here this week and for a couple of reasons.  One, working back from an injury or even a tweaking is never fun.  It can ultimately lead to giving up on your fitness plan altogether.  Well that’s not an option and thinking about being able to be a dad and do all the dad things I want to do helps me push through a workout.  The second thing, I noticed today is that I am much better getting it done in the am than the pm.  Trying to get those 4 sets in before lunch is easier than after lunch, especially when I haven’t had enough sleep.  So I am going to really endeavor to complete my simple sets in the morning hours.  And thirdly, is that the exercises are getting a little stale.  I have been doing the same things for more than a few weeks now.  So maybe after this week it will be time to mix it up a bit.  I will plan on doing that this weekend.  IMG_1543

On the positive side is my step count.  I have a goal to get 70,000 steps in a week, which is something I haven’t done before.  So far so good.  Have averaged over 10,000 steps since Sunday.  Hopefully, I will be able to achieve this goal.  IMG_1544

God Bless!

Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children. And walk in love, as the Messiah also loved us and gave Himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.

Ephesians 5:1-2 HCSB
